Power consumption in the primary and tertiary industries also increased quickly; except hydro-power; the utilization hours of nuclear power, thermal power and solar power equipment decreased; the inter-regional and inter-provincial power supply increased; the new generating capacity of national infrastructure increased year on year, and the new energy increased over 70%; and the power investment increased rapidly.
I. Electricity consumption of the whole society
From January to June, China's total electricity consumption was 4.307.6 billion KWH. It increases by 5.0% year on year. The contribution rate to the overall growth of social electricity consumption was 59.7%; The tertiary industry consumed 763.1 billion KWH of electricity, Year-over-year growth of 9.9%, Accounting for 17.7% of the total social electricity consumption, The contribution rate to the growth of the total social electricity consumption was 33.5%; Domestic electricity consumption of urban and rural residents was 619.7 billion KWH, Year-over-year increase of 1.3%, Accounted for 14.4% of the total social electricity consumption, The contribution to the growth of total electricity consumption was 3.8%.
In June, China used 775.1 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, up to 3.9 percent year on year. By industry, the electricity consumption of the primary industry increased by 14.0% year on year; the secondary industry increased by 2.3% and 2.4%; the tertiary industry increased by 10.1% year on year, including the leasing and business services, accommodation and catering, wholesale and retail, transportation / storage and postal services by over 10%; and the domestic electricity consumption of urban and rural residents increased by 2.2%.
II. Power generation and production situation
By the end of June, China's installed power generation capacity was 2.71 billion kilowatts, up to 10.8 percent year on year. Among them, the installed capacity of non-fossil energy power generation was 1.39 billion kW, up 18.6% year on year, accounting for 51.5% of the total installed capacity, accounting for 3.4 percentage points higher year on year. hydro-power reached 420 million kw, up 4.5 percent year on year. Thermal power capacity was 1.36 billion kw, up to 3.8% year on year. Nuclear power plants reached 56.76 million kilowatts, up 2.2 percent year on year. Wind power was 390 million kw, up to 13.7 percent year on year. Solar power generation was 470 million kilowatts, up 39.8 percent year on year.
From January to June, China's large-scale power plants generated ② 4,168 billion KWH of electricity, up 3.8 percent year on year. Among them, hydro-power generation was 450.4 billion KWH, down 22.9% year on year; thermal power generation was 2,945.7 billion KWH, up 7.5% year on year; and nuclear power generation was 211.9 billion KWH, up 6.5% year on year.
III. Utilization hours of power generation equipment
From January to June, the cumulative average utilization hours of power generation equipment nationwide were 1,733 hours, 44 hours lower than the same period of last year.
By type, from January to June, the average utilization hours of hydro-power equipment nationwide was 1,239 hours, 452 hours lower than the same period of last year. Among the top 10 provinces of installed hydro-power capacity, average utilization hours of hydro-power equipment in other provinces except Guangdong decreased compared with the same period last year, including Hunan, Guizhou, Guangxi, Hubei, Yunnan and Fujian decreased by more than 500 hours, Zhejiang and Zhejiang, Qinghai and Sichuan by more than 300 hours; national average utilization hours of thermal power equipment were 2,142 hours, 84 hours more than the same period of last year. In terms of provinces, the utilization hours of thermal power equipment in 16 provinces exceeded the national average level, among which Sichuan, Xinjiang and Chongqing exceeded 2500 hours; the average utilization hours of nuclear power equipment 3,770 hours, 97 hours more than the same period of last year; the average utilization hours of grid-connected wind power equipment 1,237 hours, 83 hours more than the same period of last year; the average utilization hours of solar power generation equipment 658 hours, 32 hours lower than the same period of last year.
IV. Inter-regional and inter-provincial electricity delivery situation
From January to June, 365.4 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity transmission were completed, up to 11.7% year on year, of which 69.8 billion kilowatt-hours were delivered this month, down 2.9% year on year. Provinces sent 819.9 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, up to 6.1 percent year on year, including 158 billion kilowatt-hours this month, down 2.5 percent year on year.
V. New installed capacity situation
From January to June, China's new infrastructure power generation production capacity reached 140.96 million kilowatts, 71.86 million kilowatts more than the same period last year. Of this, hydro-power was 5.36 million kilowatts, thermal power of 26.02 million kW, nuclear power of 1.19 million kilowatts, wind power of 22.99 million kilowatts and solar power of 78.42 million kilowatts.
VI. Completion of electric power investment
From January to June, major power generation enterprises nationwide invested 331.9 billion yuan in power supply projects, up 53.8% year on year. Of this, 39.2 billion yuan was for hydro-power, 39.2 billion yuan for thermal power, 35.9 billion yuan for nuclear power, 76.1 billion yuan for wind power and 134.9 billion yuan for solar power. Investment in clean energy sources such as hydro-power, nuclear power and wind power accounted for 88.2% of the total investment in power supply.
From January to June, China completed 205.4 billion yuan of investment in power grid projects, up 7.8% year on year.
