On the morning of September 19, the groundbreaking ceremony of DAJI's 5MW photovoltaic power generation project was held outside the plant's pipe tower workshop. The construction of the project is an important milestone for DAJI in exploring and practicing the path of green and sustainable development, marking the company's new step towards green transformation and high-quality development. Wang Lixin, Chief Engineer of DAJI, Wang Qiang, Production Director, Xu Bo, Manager of General Manager Department, Yin Minghao, Deputy Director of Huaneng Nanjing Power Plant, and Yu Haoping, Director of Huaneng Jiangning Comprehensive Energy Project Department, were present at the groundbreaking ceremony.

The 5MW distributed photovoltaic project of DAJI Company is located in the color steel tile roof of the steel pipe tower workshop in the factory of Nanjing DAJI Steel Tower Manufacturing Co., Ltd, with a construction area of about 50,000 square meters, and the project is invested and constructed by Huaneng Nanjing Jiangning Green Energy Development Co. Adopting the mode of "self-generation and self-consumption, surplus electricity on the Internet", the project is scheduled to reach the conditions of grid connection before November 30th.

After the completion of the project, it will save 2128 tons of standard coal, 5892 tons of carbon dioxide, 177 tons of sulfur dioxide, 89 tons of nitrogen oxides, 1608 tons of dust, 23,640 tons of clean water, 3,274 trees, and 147.8 million degrees of power generation in its 25-year life cycle. Distributed photovoltaic application in the city has created a new type of energy utilization of "power plant on top and factory underneath", which better realizes the comprehensive utilization of solar energy and building space. While bringing economic benefits to the enterprise, it fulfills the social responsibility of energy saving, emission reduction and environmental protection, helps "carbon peak, carbon neutral", improves the social image of the enterprise and enhances the core competitiveness of the enterprise.
